Don’t use Plywood. Use 1″ high density particle board.
[Yes, that is a good idea. I probably should have used that to make it even more dead, acoustically. However, at this point, I don't think I will rebuild these baffles again. Thanks, -GDS]

Been a busy spring & summer for both of us it looks like! the Ducati looks great! check my sub albums for my not-so-mega-buck bike..I have to pedal it!

So how’d the amp seminar go?

[GDS-The seminar went really well. We saw 4 amplifiers completed and running. The fifth is a local, so he's coming over to my place to finish up his amp. All students seemed to enjoy the day. The food was great, and the discussion was friendly. We're hoping to do another seminar in August or September. Stay Tuned... GDS]

You have updated your transformer from a smaller rating to higher rating and also higher voltages, I read your comparison at DIY audio, is there any other things you want to add, eg better bass, more powerful? mid range suffers or remains unchange? any change to the high freq.?

[GDS-thanks for your question. The only thing that really jumped out at me is that the bass seemed to be better with the smaller EI transformers. The toroids are certainly much louder due to the increased voltage most likely. Also, all of my observations are subjective. I didn't put any instrumentation on it.]

Have you added any more components to your speaker cabs yet? Also, how is the reinforcing of the cabs going?

[GDS-Check out the section above that says "Braced Baffles" It is much stronger now! Got the K2. It arrived just before we left for Florida! Works great too.]
